Traditional simplicity.

A friend from Italy gifted to me this Bialetti 3 cup stove-top espresso maker. She said this is a staple of all Italian kitchens. I can see why! Making my morning espresso is as simple as boiling water. And the results are the same every time---delicious! Keep in mind that "3 cup" means 3 espresso cups not 3 measure cups. I personally drink all 3 cups myself (isn't that the American way???) sometimes straight and sometimes with enough milk to fill a regular coffee mug. I should also note that my friend says that ILLY brand coffee is considered by most Italians to be the best coffee. I highly recommend both the Bialetti espresso maker and the ILLY coffee.
