I got this espresso maker after moving to Germany for a 2-3 year assignment. My old espresso machine was getting near the end of its life, but since I knew I was coming back to the US and I haven't found any dual voltage machines, I didn't want to spend a lot on a higher end espresso maker. I got this for $55, and figured it was worth a shot.I've had it for about three weeks, and I couldn't be happier. It makes a consistent espresso, it's quiet, and it's fast. It's steam-driven, not pump-driven, and honestly, now I don't know what all the fuss is about pump-driven machines.The only caveat to this review is that I haven't used the steamer because I don't make lattes or cappuccinos, etc.. So, I can't comment on that aspect of the product. Also, since I've only had it for three weeks, I can't comment on its reliability, either.
