5Love the Java Jig
By R. Gannaway
I was pleasantly surprised at the performance of the Java Jig. Having tried another brand of these reusable cups for the Keurig brewer, I didn't expect much from Java Jig. It fits right into the regular (black) Keuring cup holder (no need to use the grey one that you buy separately from Keuring). Also the filter is just right. Clean up is a breeze, just discard the filter and run the plastic pieces under some water. This is the best solution I have tried yet that I have tried for using my own coffee in the Keuring.Note: be careful not to put too much coffee in the container. It might spill if packed too tightly.

4Does the job, but...
By E. Michael Starbird
I recently purchased the JavaJig reusable K-Cup coffee filter and though I wasn't thoroughly impressed with the product, I was not disappointed either. The product uses a K-cup sized housing that fits around a small coffee filter in which you then place your coffee inside, put the cap on top, then put it into your Keurig machine.Assembling the product is quite simple and easy to do. The box gives 4 simple steps as to how to set the filter and add your coffee. Unlike the official Keurig My K-Cup prodcut, the JavaJig is about the size of a K-Cup and goes right into your machine like a K-Cup would; you do not have to remove the inner holder of your machine. However, I have noticed that the coffee tends to be quite a bit weaker than normal. I used a Mild Blend of Maxwell House coffee (which is what I would use in my normal coffee pot) and the coffee was quite a bit thinner and more watered down. I tried it twice, one where the JavaJig was nearly full and one where it was completely full. Though adding more coffee grounds did strengthen it slightly, it did leave a ground or two in the cup.The JavaJig itself is actually a good money-saving product for those who love Keurig coffee but hate having to spend a lot of money on the K-Cups. The only thing is that if you find that your typical coffee seems weak, that you may need to get a stronger blend. Other than that, good overall product.

5Exactly What I Was Looking For
By Steve Berczuk
We like our Keurig. It makes it easy to have make a single cup of coffee or to have different kinds of coffee. The one minor annoyance was that there are certain coffees that don't come in K-Cups. And we sometimes think of the waste aspect of K-Cups. We tried other reusable K-Cups, like the Eko Brew and they were OK, but the coffee sometimes seemed oily when we used the options that did not have a paper filter. The Java Jig seems to be the perfect comprimse between ease of use of K-Cups, and benefits of a reusable option. The Java Jig is easier to clean than the Eko Brew. The down side is that you have to buy filters, but they are not that expensive. While we still use other options, the Java Jig is our first choice for K-Cup coffee.
