Bought this as a replacement for our tomato-red Hamilton-Beach coffee maker, so the color didn't exactly match, but price and function made more than up for it. Without switching lids, the carafe fit instantly, and hasn't given us any trouble so far. The only reason I gave it four stars is the fact that we ordered a four-pack, but Amazon only sent a single "Medelco GL312". They prorated the shipping without hassle; and we just have to be a little more careful. Great product!
